However, the gums and jawbone will change shape during the healing period. That means your immediate dentures will need to be relined for a better fit, which we build into your care plan. The most significant advantage of immediate dentures is that you don’t have to go without teeth a single day!
Conventional Dentures: Conventional dentures are created from 3D scans of your mouth and positioned after removing any remaining teeth and waiting for the bones and tissues to heal. That typically takes about 6 to 12 weeks. Waiting for healing allows us to work in the subtle details of your mouth, providing a comfortable fit and superior function.
