Amanda Dyer, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Amanda Dyer opened Studio Smiles intent on providing superior dental care to meet her patients’ needs, all within a comforting and supportive environment.
She received her dental degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and went on to serve for seven years in the United States Navy. During that time, she completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, served and deployed on the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D Eisenhower CVN 69, and received her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She also provided care and taught at Naval Station Great Lakes and Captain James A Lovell Federal Health Care Center. After serving, Dr. Dyer went on to private practice before opening her own office.
When she is not focusing on your smile, Dr. Dyer loves to prioritize family time with her husband, two boys, and their beloved rescue dog, Brian. She also enjoys movies, gardening, and traveling.

Smile Support Leader
Amanda loves working with patients and is passionate about making sure they receive quality service and attention. Her personal goal is that every patient comes in and feels relaxed knowing that she’s there to help and provide them whatever they need to make their visit the best experience it can be. Amanda has been in the dental field for over 12 years. She has taken many additional certifications throughout her career to become qualified in expanded functions. Her current role is that of our clinical team leader.
Amanda is married and has two children, a boy and a girl. In her spare time, she loves to cook and considers herself quite the foodie. Summer months are her favorite and she enjoys spending as much time outdoors with her family as she can.
Kat
Care Coordinator
Kat began her dental career as a dental assistant, where she found her passion for dentistry. Her passion inspired her to further her education to become qualified in expanded functions. Her current role is that of our care coordinator. Her personal goal every day is to create a comfortable environment for patients and to help make every person feel confident with their smile.
Kat is also a mom of two children, a son, and a daughter, with the addition of her two dogs. She and her family love to travel and vacation to new places, and try new things and foods wherever they go. In her free time, Kat enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sporting events, and spending quality family time together.
